Animal Studies

We have been working on our Animal Studies science kit for a while.  You guys have done an excellent job of observing and comparing your animals.  Choose two of the animals and tell me at least three ways they are alike.  Tell me also at least three ways they are different.  Remember to use some of that great science vocabulary you’ve been learning.

I’m going to pick the frogs and the crabs. Our crabs live on land and the frogs live in the water. Some crabs live in water and adult frogs live on the land. They are both organizams. The crabs have claws and the frogs don’t have claws. The frogs are anfibians and the crabs are crustacions. The crabs have shells and the frogs don’t have shells.

Two of the animals that we have studied are crabs and snails. Three things they have in common are that they both have an exoskeleton, they both live in a shell, and they both live on land. Three things they have that are different are that one is a vertebrate and the other is not, one has joints and the other does not, and one has a radula and the other does not.

Two of the animols we are studying is the snail and crab. The snail and the crab have to stay moist. The snail is stomec footed and the crab is not.

The two animals that I choose are the snails and the crabs. Thay both have exoskeleton and they molt. The difference between the snails and the crabs are that the crabs are the crustaceons and the snails are mullosks.

Two animals I am going to compare are crabs and frogs. A thing they have alike is that they are cold blooded. Another thing is that they both molt. A last thing is that they both are organizams. A thing that is not the same is that one is a crustasian and the other one is an a anphibian. Another thing is that one has a tail and the other one dosen’t.

The crab and the snail are both invertebrates. Crabs and snails have an exosceleton. The crab and the snail both have shells. The crab can change into different colors. Snails are stomach footed. Crabs have a tail under there body. Snails have a muscular foot for movement. Crabs are cold blooded. Snails are also cold blooded.

Crabs and snails. Crabs and snails are alike because they have exoskeletons, they change shells when the shells are too small. Something they have different is that the snails need soil and the crabs sand. And snails and crabs both need water. One has a radula and one doesn’t.

I am studying the science kit and my two animals are snails and crabs. They are both invertebrates and they both have exoskeletons. The snail is stomach footed and the crabs have a tail. They’re tail is folded and is under the crab.

The two animals are the snail and the crab. They are alike because they both have the tail hiding, they are slow and they both like the dark.

One is not cold blooded and one is cold blooded.
