University Bound

This weekend I didn’t do very much because I was sick for most of the weekend.  I did get out of the house on Saturday night for a couple of hours.  I got to go to a Christmas celebration to see how different Latin American countries celebrate Christmas.  Some of the countries represented were Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Puerto Rico, Brazil, and Mexico.  It was fun to see the different instruments they play and the different songs they sing.  It reminded me of how we are all different, but very much the same too.  How was your weekend?

Este fin de semana no hice mucho porque estaba enferma por dos días.  Pero salí por unas dos horas el sábado por la noche.  Me fuí a una presentación Navideña que mostraba como celebran las Navidades en diferentes países Latino Americanos.  Unos países que fueron representados eran Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, Puerto Rico, Brazil y Mexico.  Era divertido ver los diferentes instrumentos que tocan y oír las diferentes canciones que cantan.  Me hizo pensar en lo diferente que somos todos, y en lo parecido que somos también.  ¿Cómo pasaste tú el fin de semana?
